La Andromeda Promethium Sides

Just a sketch based on the mangas Galaxy Express 999 and Queen Millennia  by Leiiji Matsumoto as two sides of the same person.

Queen Millennia and Galaxy Express 999 are linked by the character of Laah Andromeda Promethium, in Queen Millennia she's also known as Yayoi Yukino.

Without giving too much away from the story, in Queen Millennia the conflict comes to be when  the planet La-Metal comes back to the solar system after a thousand years long revolution around the sun, however this time it seems like the two planets are going to clash into each other and Yayoi Yukino will have to take many hard choiches and in the end, she will leave Earth and live on La-Metal with the objective to guide it into his last revolution around the sun and a cold  and dark eternity.

In the end she decide to begin a process to transform her people in artificial life forms and she's the first to get a mechanical body loosing her heart and getting obsessed over the perfection of the artificial life over the mortal one.

In Galaxy Express 999 she will play a key role in the ending as the queen of a fully artificial planet, completely different from how she was centuries before when she left Earth in 1999.
